GREETINGS MESSAGE

Event: His Majesty the Sultant of Bruneis' 60th Birthday on July 15, 2006. (As aired on Kristal FM and Pilihan Network 95.9FM)

Hello.

This is Ambassador Emil Skodon, Ambassador of the United States of America to Negara Brunei Darussalam. 

On behalf of President Bush and the people of the United States, it is a pleasure for me to offer His Majesty, the Sultan and Yang di Pertuan of Negara Brunei Darussalam our Congratulations and best wishes for his 60th birthday.

His Majesty has overseen the development of a warm and mutually productive relationship between the US and Brunei. The Untied States has great respect for the achievements recorded by Brunei Darussalam over the last 22 years.  It is our hope that the growing partnership between our nations will contribute to additional economic, social, and political advancements in the future, for the benefit of the people of the Untied States and of Brunei.

On the occasion of his sixtieth birthday, we wish His Majesty, continued health, happiness and long life.

Happy Birthday Your Majesty.
