In 2008, Salehkamal Haji Badaruddin, a nurse at the Ministry of Health won the Fulbright scholarship. Saleh will be commencing a two-year Master of Public Health degree at George Washington University.
In 2007, Zul Fakhri Maidy, a sub editor at the Borneo Bulletin won the Fulbright scholarship. Zuis currently pursusing a two-year Master of Arts degree in Journalsim at University of Missouri, Missouri.

In 2006, it was Dayang Vivi Jafiana DP Hj Jaafar an Education Officer with the Ministry of Education who won the scholarship. Ms. Vivi was accepted for a two year Master of Arts degree in Computer Engineering at Purdue University, Indiana.

In 2005, Awang Yusra Hj Mohd Salleh won the Fulbright scholarship. Yusra is currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Comparitive Religion at Arizona State University, Arizona.

In 2004, Pengiran Dr Haji Hishamuddin - was the first Fulbright scholar since the reactivation of the prestigious Fulbright Program in 2004. He joined the 2 year Master in Public Health (MPH) program, specializing in Epidemiology, at the Rollins School of Public Health in Emory University, Atlanta, USA, in August 2004 and completed his degree in May 2006.
