Appointment system for American Citizen Services

The U.S. Embassy in Brunei has implemented an appointment system for American citizen services. This will ensure that an officer is always available to assist our clients and that our provision of services is as prompt and hassle-free as possible for Americans resident in Brunei.  

Appointments are now required for American citizen registration, passport issuances and pages, Reports of Birth Abroad, notaries, and some other services.  American citizens can make appointments for these services at 222-0384 (EXT.111) or by email to the Consular Assistant (Consular_Brunei@state.gov).   

The Embassy is pleased to answer telephone and email inquiries on consular matters throughout the working day.  American citizens are also welcome to drop by the Embassy from 1-4 pm, Monday through Friday, to consult with our inquiry desk.  As always, a Duty Officer is available 24 hours a day to assist Americans in an emergency.
